I think I’m going to be the only person in the world who thinks this, but Season 5 of Community wasn’t great. I liked Season 4 a lot more. Controversial, right? Today brings the news that Community has been cancelled. And after the past season, I’m not struggling to see why. The dream of Six Seasons and a Movie is no more. Probably.
I really don’t think this is the end for Community. I can see Netflix picking it up, for sure. Maybe it’s cancellation will be the best thing to happen to it. Maybe it will inspire better storylines. Or maybe this will be it. No more Community. If that’s the case, I’d rather it have ended after Season 4. At least that tied up any loose ends for me.
I kind of see this as good news. In other news, that Supernatural attempted spin-off, Bloodlines, didn’t get picked up. I like Supernatural, well, the early seasons, but that show just needs to end. And it doesn’t need a spin off!
As long as they don’t cancel my beloved Parks and Recreation, I’ll be happy.
