Wings & Roundabouts

Obsessive, addicted and darn right weird are words and a phrase that you could use to describe my love for The X Factor. It’s an odd kind of love though, it begins a few weeks before X Factor begins, then ends pretty much straight after the series comes to a close. I mean is anyone actually waiting for an album from Misha B, or Janet Devlin or any other contestants that I can’t even remember their names right now.

Even Little Mix, who I adored so much on the show, I grew to hate over the past 6 months. The really poor first single and constant tweets about absolutely nothing, the way they called the fans ‘Mixers’ and that’s about it. The news of their new single, ‘Wings’, didn’t excite me at all, until I heard it this morning. And I’ve got to say, it’s pretty frantastic!

Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock & Jade Thirlwall have never sounded so good. It’s catchy, and it grows on me more and more every time I listen to it. If you’d like to listen to the song, you can do that as well! Direct link to the lyric video right here. It’s very swings and roundabouts. What we lost with the past few months, we’ve got back. Luck evens out.

Other swings & roundabout things include last night. It wasn’t the greatest of nights, in fact it was boring and I spent 15 minutes this morning at about 7ish throwing my guts out, which is weird because I hardly had anything to drink at all. What was lost, was gained somewhere else. And I’ve spent about two hours trying to type this but I just keep losing interest. Also, today’s blog post title is clever, if I do say so myself.
