Free stuff is always good, and Nintendo obviously know this, because in celebration of the Legend of Zelda’s 25th anniversary, they’ve put a free ‘anniversary edition’ of Four Swords on DSiWare and the 3DS shop! How kind of them!

The game itself is exactly the same as the version released back in 2004, bar one minor change – you can now play the whole game in a new single player mode. Which is great news seen as I lack any sort of friend who would be crazy enough to want to play a Zelda game with me. So, I downloaded the game and played an hour or so of the single player mode, and I enjoyed it. You can tell it was designed to be more fun with more people, but isn’t everything?
My next move is to find three friends, all fans of Zelda, then play Four Swords with them until Skyward Sword is released. Sick times.
