I’m having a busy day today, so how about some recycled blog content for today. Here is my favourite Pokemon related Facebook groups, or fanpages.

Facebook. Like it or not, it’s hard to get away from in society these days. It also plays a huge part in the gaming industry, games like Farmvillie and Fish-whatever it’s called are bringing many new gamers to the table. Facebook also has a lot of gaming fan pages, that never fail to make me laugh, in this post, I’m going to take a look at some of the greatest Pokemon ones.

When Ash from Pokemon turns his hat around you know sh**s about to go down! Seriously, this group is genius. It was the also one of the first “when s**t goes down groups, so kudos on that part. Also, when it has 1,250,529 people that like it, you know it is awesome. A similar group is this one. Funny, but not as good as the first.

One I found the other day is this one; making it through a patch of grass without getting into a Pokemon battle. Even now when I’m playing Pokemon, I still feel the success when I make it through a patch of grass without having to battle.

If you use Facebook a lot, you’ll have noticed the increase of LOL JK groups.  Of course, I avoided joining them, but I just had when I saw this one. I fight my own fights, Lol JK, Pikachu, I choose you. Story of my life.

Don’t you hate it when you’re sleeping and a Jigglypuff draws on you? Yup, me too. And so do 134,355 other people. If you watched the Pokemon anime when you were younger the drawing Jigglypuff was always a recurring theme!

Anyone have fond memories of Pokemon Red or Blue? Remember trying as many different ways as possible to get pass that darn Snorlax in the road and how annoying it was? I do. And so do 278,106 other people judging by this Facebook group. 

Don’t you hate it when you run into someone you dislike at work or school? Wouldn’t it be so much more awesome if the Pokemon battle theme started playing whenever you met? I sure do think so. I can just picture it now.

Ever remember when Facebook groups went through a ‘When I was your age’ fad? Don’t worry, I try to forget it as well. Here are 3 of the more funny Pokemon related ones. When I Was Young I Was Carrying Pokemon Cards, Not Knives, When I was your age I was catching Pokémon not STIs and When I was your age, we didn’t have terrorists, we had Team Rocket.

Speaking of Team Rocket, there is a great Facebook group related to the Volcanic Ash incident a couple of months back. It made me chuckle.

One I spotted recently is about how Pokemon taught us valuable life lessons. For example, if somebody’s standing on the side of the road, they definitely want to battle you, or how there is no such thing as death, only fainting. Also,  if you have a bike, you can fit it in your backpack and whip it out within a second, which is so true it hurts!

And that’s all I’ve got. Of course, there is no way I’d be able to check out all the Facebook groups, but I’m sure there are more out there.
